WCL is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to take responsibility for an established logistics operation in Port Klang, Malaysia.
The position combines operational leadership, commercial development and team management and offers the opportunity to actively contribute to the continued development of the location.
Your Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the management and development of the branch
- Lead daily operations and maintain consistently high service standards
- Drive business development and strengthen existing and new customer relationships
- Monitor branch performance and support sustainable growth
- Lead, motivate and develop the local team
- Continuously improve operational processes, efficiency and productivity
- Cooperate closely with regional management and relevant internal functions
- Ensure compliance with applicable company and industry standards
Your Profile
- Several years of experience in international freight forwarding and logistics
- Proven leadership experience in a branch or comparable management position
- Sound knowledge of international freight forwarding operations
- Strong commercial understanding and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience in developing customer relationships and growing a business
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
- Hands-on, self-motivated and results-oriented approach
- Good understanding of the Malaysian logistics market
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
