In recent weeks, we have observed a clear development across the logistics market.
Despite an overall cautious economic environment, many companies continue to invest selectively in key leadership and specialist roles.
From my perspective, the focus is clearly shifting.
It is no longer about growth at any cost, but rather about stability, control and the targeted development of existing structures.
We are currently supporting several mandates across the USA, Europe and the Middle East ā particularly in areas such as Ocean Freight, Project Logistics and leadership roles with full P&L responsibility.
Recent search mandates include, among others:
- Procurement Specialist ā Reefer (FCL Export) in Miami
- Branch Manager in Seattle
- several senior roles in Project Logistics across the Middle East (Dubai / Saudi Arabia)
- as well as commercial and management functions across the European market
- Business Development Contract Logistics ASIA
- Branch Manager roles in Munich, Stuttgart, Nuernberg, Bremen , Hannover
This range of roles highlights where companies are currently focusing their efforts:
operational excellence, control of international transport flows and the structured expansion of commercial capabilities. In addition, some LSP`s focusing on network expansion through opening of new branch offices.
What stands out is a noticeable shift in expectations.
Companies are no longer looking for purely functional profiles, but for individuals who combine strong operational expertise with a clear strategic mindset. The ability to navigate organizations through complex and uncertain market conditions has become a key requirement.
Particularly in international environments, experience, network and market understanding have become critical success factors.
In this context, Executive Search is increasingly evolving into a strategic instrument ā not only to fill positions, but to actively support the development and long-term stability of organizations.
