He started his career 1978 as an apprentice with DB Schenker in Stuttgart and worked in Domestic Transport and Events until 1985 when he transferred to DB Schenker in Sydney, Australia as manager ocean freight. 1991-1998 he was General manager NSW heading an organisation of more than 100 staff.
1999 -2001 Ron was the global director of the Sydney Olympic Games for DB Schenker and secured the logistics service contract for the Sydney Olympic Games.
2002-2019 Ron was appointed Managing Director and CEO of DB Schenker Australia/New Zealand. Under his leadership he built up an organisation with more than 1200 staff and 25 locations for Air freight, Ocean freight and Contract Logistic activities. He was also a member of the APAC management team to steer the organisation in Asia.
2007-2019 Ron was a member of the German Australian Chamber of Commerce and a Director and Chairman for the organisation. He was awarded the prestigious Grand Cross of the Order or Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2016 for supporting the bilateral trade and recognition of the German Industry in Australia.
He is also a non-executive director for the National Intermodal Company in Sydney and a member of the AICD (Australian Institute of Company Directors).

Karl-Heinz started his career in International Freight Forwarding as an apprentice in Hamburg, Germany in 1975.
During his career Karl-Heinz held various management positions for International Freight Forwarding Companies such as
in the USA, Brazil and Chile, concentrating on Ocean-, Air and Project Freight.

Reto is a senior Logistics- and Supply chain executive.
His career took him through 10 countries on 3 continents. For 36 years in Kuehne + Nagel originally he focused on Ocean freight operations and development reaching the regional Ocean freight position for the Middle East and East Med. In a later phase dedicated to general management successfully leading the Mexican organization for 9 years and the South- and Central America Region for 6 years.

Anita has worked in the international freight forwarding industry for almost 10 years and has a Bachelor Degree majoring in International Business and Trade.
In 2003 Anita started her career at Kuehne+Nagel’s Regional Headquarter in New York, where she has started to learn the Seafreight Industry and was responsible for Imports from Europe and Asia. She then moved on to become a Business Analyst and Integration Manager for Customer Solutions, managing projects for large Clients from various industries that improved their Supply Chain processes.
Before moving back to Germany in 2011, after living abroad for almost 8 years, Anita had started her own company in the U.S. working as a Logistics Consultant and representative for WCL since 2009.
Anita has joined the WCL Germany team in early 2011, while still holding a part-time position with Kuehne+Nagel’s Corporate Customer Solutions Team, working on new developments.

Leslie started his career in COSCO Container line in Qingdao in 1995, then one year later he joined Evergreen Line’s agency office and took over varied roles in position of West bound, Vessel Planner, Import department and East bound department.
In 2001 he joined TMT, the Joint Venture between Maersk and China Railway, to support the block train operation for Maersk Line and other shipping lines with presence in China inland markets.

Christian Nebel, geboren und aufgewachsen in der Hafenstadt Hamburg, verfügt über 42 Jahre Erfahrung in der internationalen Spedition und Logistik in Europa, den USA und im asiatisch-pazifischen Raum. Er kam im April 2022 als Partner zu WCL und wurde im Januar 2023 Anteilseigner. Seine Hauptaktivitäten bei WCL sind Executive Search und Rekrutierung.
Bevor er zu WCL in Hamburg kam, war er viele Jahre in der Logistikbranche tätig. Seine berufliche Laufbahn begann er 1980 als Auszubildender bei der Schenker & Co, GmbH – heute DB Schenker in Hamburg. 1986 stimmte er einen Wechsel nach Los Angeles zu und übernahm die Seefrachtaktivitäten für Südkalifornien.
1990 wechselte Christian zu Schenker Hongkong, wo er in verschiedenen Führungspositionen tätig war, unter anderem als Leiter aller Vertriebsaktivitäten- und der gesamten Seefracht für Südchina. Nach 12 Jahren in Hongkong wechselte er nach Neu-Delhi, Indien, und wurde zum Geschäftsführer ernannt. Im Jahr 2006 führte er die Organisation durch die Fusion mit Bax Global und übernahm die Geschäftsführung beider Unternehmen. DB Schenker India wurde zum Marktführer in der See-/Luftfracht und entwickelte unter seiner Führung Kontraktlogistik sowie vertikale Markteintrittsstrategien.
Im Jahr 2012 wechselte Christian als Executive Vice President Asia Pacific zu JAS mit Sitz in Singapur. Sein Hauptziel im ersten Jahr war es, die Ländermanagementstruktur in der gesamten Region neu zu organisieren. Darüber hinaus implementierte er eine Produktmanagement-Organisation für Luft- und Seefracht, gefolgt vom Aufbau eines soliden Key Account / Sales-Teams in Asien.
2016 entschied er sich, in seine Heimat Deutschland zurückzukehren und übernahm die Position des Geschäftsführers FF bei Geodis Deutschland. Geodis, Teil der SNCF (Französische Eisenbahn), ist ein mittelständisches Logistikunternehmen in Deutschland mit dreihundert Mitarbeitern und 7 Bürostandorten.
Im Jahr 2018 kehrte Christian nach Hongkong zurück und übernahm die Position als Regional CEO für den asiatisch-pazifischen Raum bei Fr. Meyer’s Sohn (FMS), einem in Privatbesitz befindlichen Logistikdienstleister mit Sitz in Hamburg. FMS gehört zu den TOP 15 Global NVOCC und konzentriert sich auf von FCL Bereich mit Fokus auf Commodities .
Anfang 2021 wechselte er als Regional CEO für Nordasien zu Agility in Hongkong. Er war verantwortlich für die Aktivitäten von Agility in China und Hongkong, Taiwan, Japan und Korea. Nach der Übernahme von Agility durch DSV entschied sich Christian, dauerhaft zurück nach Hamburg zu ziehen.
After having finalized the basic education at the Gymnasium in Lesum/Bremen with his Abitur, Günter started his commercial career in shipping business as an apprentice with Hapag-Lloyd AG in Bremen/Hamburg. Thereafter he moved for 4 years to London and in 1986 to Jakarta. In 1994 he joined UASC (S.A.G) in London and moved in 1998 to Singapore for more than 10 years. During his term in the shipping company he did serve in all shipping line fields from line management, administration and top management.
He held senior positions such as line manager, general manager, director, regional VP from 1980 until 2009. In 2009 he moved back to Germany and managed UASAC (NWE) GmbH – the interests of UASC (S.A.G) in Germany, Holland and Belgium – as the manging director until 2011.
He left UASC and set up his own consulting company under the name of GK-Consulting with effect from March, 2013 and entered partnership with WCL in order serve logistic and shipping companies in the field of management processes, recruitment and other business related matters.

Thomas started his career in 1986 as IT Director at Union Air Transport, directly after successfully graduating in economic science from the University of applied science in Mainz.
Over a period of more than 25 years, he held several senior positions at Union Air Transport, UTI Worldwide, Schenker and Kuehne + Nagel.
His focus and expertise have been mainly in IT, organizational transformation and sales driven business development on a global scale.
For Schenker Thomas initiated and started the rollout of Schenker’s forwarding system PROCARS in Germany.
At UTi Worldwide, Thomas was a leading member of the global IT roadmap and “uTrac/eMpower” development team and part of the Enterprise IT Leadership Team.
In addition he held the regional VP and CIO position for EMENA, followed by global roles such as VP Enterprise IT and Client Facing IT Systems.
Since 2009 he was in charge of UTi’s global datacenter (NOC) located in Frankfurt.
In 2010, he joined Kuehne + Nagel in Hamburg as SVP for Customer Solutions with global responsibility for IT based client solutions and the transformation to a customer oriented philosophy with cross business unit alignment.
After a Sabbatical Year he founded “Thomas Fuchs iBOSS – Consulting” in October 2013 and joined the WCL family as representing office Frankfurt effective November 1, 2013.
He started his career 1979 as an apprentice with DB Schenker in Wels and passed through all departments of a forwarding company. After one year with TNT-Express Worldwide in 1993 as Depot General Manager he returned to DB Schenker. Kurt managed various departments and went all the way from department manager via branch manager up to a Board Member for Air- and Ocean Freight, Contract Logistics and Sales and became 2013 CEO from DB Schenker Southeast-Europe. 2016 he was appointed CEO from DB Schenker Germany & Switzerland. In 2019 he had a special assignment to found a region in Central Asia & Caucasus area. 2020 until 2022 he held managing director positions with Austrian trucking & forwarding companies and strengthened its experience with large fleet management with truck fleet management and European intermodal traffic.
During his career within DB Schenker he kept always a certain focus on contract logistics, management & set up of sales units as well as overall concepts for transport solutions. Management of outsourcing projects is one of his key competencies.
Kurt opened his own consultancy business, KL-Logistik & Management Consulting e.U. in Wels, Austria in November 2022. He is supporting the transportation and forwarding market as well as the industry with his long lasting experience in all kind of transport & logistics affairs as well as management topics. He is also active in Executive search & recruiting as well as M&A affairs in Austria and Southeast-Europe.
Kurt is aside his professional tasks deputy chairman of the Austrian logistics association VNL (Verein Netzwerk Logistik) and is lecturer at the university of applied sciences in Steyr/Austria.

Cindy, a Malaysian, has lived and worked in Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany and Switzerland in both regional and global roles. A graduate with a Bachelor degree in Mathematical Science (double major in IT and Management ) from The University of Western Australia.
She started her career in IT software development in Supply Chain Industry before moving on to Consultancy and Project Management. During her career in Singapore & Hong Kong, she spend 6 years with DHL as Regional IT Manager responsible for all IT projects, Regional PMO Manager first in establishing IT focus Project Management Methodologies then for the entire Organization and finally as Regional Implementation Manager responsible for Operations Setup for Regional Clients. She was selected to attend The Young Leader Training Program, a co-training program with the Executive MBA school of National University of Singapore and was awarded the Best Contributor Award.
With her strong IT and Project Management Background, Cindy landed a job in Citibank managing major regional strategic projects before being promoted to the Head of Premium Client Services for Asia Pacific.
