For an internationally operating logistics service provider with a strong network and solid market presence, we are currently seeking an experienced sales professional to further develop the Transport and Contract Logistics business segment.

The Role

In this position, you will be responsible for the active development of customer relationships as well as the design of customized transport and logistics concepts. You will confidently operate at the intersection of strategic business development, operational sales, and project management.

Key responsibilities include

  • Active sales of transport and logistics services within a defined sales territory
  • Identification, qualification, and prioritization of target and potential customers
  • Analysis of market, customer, and competitor developments
  • Review, coordination, and management of tenders, proposals, and presentations
  • Development of innovative logistics solutions and industry-specific concepts
  • Conducting contract and price negotiations
  • Supporting customer onboarding and implementation processes in close cooperation with operational teams
  • Managing and expanding existing customer relationships

Your Profile

You bring solid experience in sales and business development within transport and contract logistics, combined with a strong understanding of operational processes.

Ideally, you offer

  • A completed degree in business administration, logistics, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification, or a vocational training background in freight forwarding and logistics services
  • Several years of professional experience in sales, business development, or project-based roles within the logistics sector
  • Operational knowledge of transport and contract logistics processes
  • Confident use of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region and, if required, across Europe
  • Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and an entrepreneurial mindset
