WCL – Worldwide Consultants in Logistics is currently supporting a European logistics provider in the search for a Sales Manager Sea Freight (Import & Export).
Our client is a well-established, medium-sized freight forwarder with international reach and part of a growing European logistics group. With short decision-making paths, modern technology, and strong customer focus, this company offers the environment where sales professionals can truly make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire and develop SME customers (approx. 150–500 TEU per year)
- Drive sales in Sea Freight Import & Export (FCL/LCL, project cargo, special equipment)
- Work closely with Operations to ensure smooth execution and high customer satisfaction
- Expand existing accounts and open up new business opportunities
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in freight forwarding sales, focus on sea freight (import & export)
- Access to relevant SME customers in Germany and across European markets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with entrepreneurial drive
- Ability to build long-term partnerships and work hand-in-hand with operations
