Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative (Client Relations) is responsible for business-to-business sales via virtual channels and manages a defined portfolio of customers and prospects within a specific region. The role focuses on developing existing customer relationships, reducing customer attrition, and acquiring new customers within a defined revenue segment.
This position is particularly well suited for candidates with experience in logistics who are looking to further develop their commercial and sales capabilities, with a clear career path toward a future Field Sales role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of up to 400 existing and potential customer accounts across multiple countries (annual revenue up to USD 50,000).
- Virtually manage assigned accounts to retain, grow, and expand business volume.
- Monitor customer activity to identify churn risks and proactively implement retention measures.
- Identify and realize cross-selling opportunities within existing customer relationships.
- Win back lost customers within the assigned region.
- Acquire new customers (“New Logos”) within the defined revenue scope.
- Work closely with the centralized pricing team to develop new customers from the spot market.
- Further develop customers within the existing customer base.
- Focus on growth within defined core markets, services, and trade lanes.
- Accurately document all sales activities (virtual meetings, calls, presentations, quotations) in the CRM system (HubSpot).

- Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently engage decision-makers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening, negotiation, and relationship-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently, structure daily tasks, and manage multiple priorities.
- High level of accuracy and strong organizational skills.
- Positive mindset and resilience when dealing with rejection in a sales environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is an advantage.
- Additional language skills are a strong asset.
Education & Experience
- At least two years of experience in inside sales, virtual sales, or customer service (preferred).
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in freight forwarding or logistics is required.
