On behalf of an international logistics and freight forwarding group, we are currently conducting a confidential search for two senior leadership positions within Project Logistics in the Middle East — one based in Dubai (UAE) and one based in Saudi Arabia.
The company operates globally with a strong footprint in complex freight solutions and is particularly active in large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects. With a growing presence in the Gulf region, the organization is further strengthening its capabilities in project logistics across Dubai and Saudi Arabia, two of the most dynamic markets for energy, infrastructure and industrial investments.
About the Role
The Head of Project Logistics (Middle East) will take full responsibility for the development and expansion of project logistics activities in either Dubai or Saudi Arabia (depending on the respective role), with a strong focus on strategic accounts and large-scale project business.
This role combines commercial leadership, tender excellence and operational steering, requiring a hands-on yet strategic mindset in a fast-evolving regional market.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Market Development
• Drive business growth within the respective market (UAE or Saudi Arabia), focusing on key industries such as energy, infrastructure and industrial projects
• Develop and execute local go-to-market and account strategies
• Identify and convert high-value project opportunities
Tender & Project Leadership
• Lead complex RFQs, RFPs and international tenders
• Ensure competitive and profitable commercial structures
• Oversee project execution in close coordination with operations and stakeholders
Regional Leadership
• Build, lead and develop high-performing local teams
• Act as a key interface between regional and global management
• Strengthen the organization’s positioning as a trusted project logistics partner in the respective market
Performance & Governance
• Monitor pipeline, performance and profitability
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
• Drive continuous improvement across processes and structures
Your Profile
• Extensive experience in project logistics / freight forwarding, ideally with exposure to the Middle East
• Strong background in commercial leadership and business development
• Proven success in managing complex tenders and large-scale logistics projects
• Deep understanding of regional market dynamics (UAE and/or Saudi Arabia)
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with strategic thinking
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English
