International Logistics Group | Strategic Growth Role
For an established international logistics group, we are seeking an experienced professional to drive the strategic development of the Contract Logistics business as part of an executive search mandate.
The company operates several modern logistics facilities in Germany and provides comprehensive warehousing, fulfillment, and supply chain management services for international clients.
This position plays a key role in expanding the contract logistics business and is aimed at an entrepreneurial professional with a strong network in relevant industries or international markets.
Internationally, the role is comparable to a Director or Business Development position within Contract Logistics.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic business development of the contract logistics segment.
You will identify new market opportunities, build long-term customer relationships, and work closely with operational teams to develop tailored logistics solutions for international clients.
You will collaborate closely with senior management and operational sites, supporting new customer projects from the initial market approach through to successful implementation.
A key focus will be the development of long-term logistics partnerships with internationally oriented companies.
Industry Focus (Vertical Markets)
We are seeking professionals with experience or a strong network in one or more of the following segments:
- Retail and consumer goods
- Industrial and electronics sectors
- Defense and security logistics
- Sustainable technologies (e.g. energy and future technologies)
- Pharmaceutical and chemical industries
International Market Focus
Alternatively, the role may be defined by regional market expertise, particularly in:
- China
- India
- Turkey
- United States
Your Profile
You have several years of experience in business development or sales within contract logistics.
Ideally, you bring a strong network in one of the industries or international markets mentioned above and have experience developing complex logistics solutions.
In addition to strong entrepreneurial thinking, you bring negotiation skills, intercultural competence, and the ability to build sustainable strategic client relationships.
