Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing international freight forwarding company, offering tailored transport and logistics solutions through its own offices and a strong global network.
With a culture defined by agility, entrepreneurship, and close customer relationships, the company is now seeking an experienced Country Manager Germany to further strengthen its operations and commercial performance.
Location: preferably Frankfurt, alternatively Hamburg
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the company’s German organization, setting strategic and operational goals
- Define and execute commercial strategies for both domestic and international markets
- Identify new business opportunities and build long-term client and partner relationships
- Drive operational excellence and cost efficiency across all departments
- Manage P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure the achievement of financial targets
- Represent the company externally and promote a collaborative, performance-driven culture
Requirements
- 8–10 years of leadership experience in freight forwarding or logistics
- Proven record in managing teams and driving business growth
- Broad understanding of air, ocean, road, customs, and project cargo services
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strategic and analytical approach to market dynamics
- Excellent command of English; experience with CargoWise is a plus
