About the position
For an international logistics and supply chain services company, we are recruiting a key leadership position for the French market. The Country Manager France will assume full responsibility for the branch, operational performance, service delivery, and the leadership and development of the local team.

This role is highly significant, as the organisation is currently realigning its presence in France. The relocation of the branch from Orly to the CDG region is planned to be completed by February 2026. The new Country Manager will actively shape this transition, strengthen stability, and reinforce a culture of operational excellence and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership
• Full responsibility for day-to-day operations within a multimodal environment (approx. 45% ocean freight, 35% air freight, 20% road transport)
• Ensure compliance with all operational processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and manage core KPIs (productivity, margins, task adoption, billing velocity)
• Collaborate closely with regional teams and take ownership of escalations
• Ensure efficient use of key systems such as CargoWise, PowerBI, Adaptive, and Workday

Customer & Business Development
• Manage and further develop global and regional Key Accounts
• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen the company’s local market position
• Ensure consistently high levels of professionalism, service quality, and customer satisfaction
• Oversee quotations, conversion rates, and market competitiveness

Leadership & People Development
• Lead, develop, and support the local team (File Handling, Sales, Account Management)
• Foster a positive, performance-oriented, and resilient branch culture
• Conduct training, performance reviews, feedback conversations, and recruit new team members
• Strengthen accountability, motivation, and teamwork

Finance & Strategy
• Full responsibility for the country P&L, including budget planning and forecasting
• Provide monthly management reports, financial insights, and commentary
• Contribute to regional initiatives and group-wide programmes
• Support annual business planning and strategic development

Your Profile
• Several years of leadership experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management — ideally in branch or country leadership
• Strong expertise in Sea, Air, and Road Freight as well as multimodal transport solutions
• Proven leadership skills: structured, motivating, collaborative, and result-driven
• Ability to build organisational structure, manage KPIs, and restore operational stability
• Experience managing international Key Accounts
• Strong knowledge of modern logistics systems (e.g., CargoWise)
• Native-level French (C2) and excellent English skill
