Business Development Manager, Contract Logistics (m/f/d) – APAC – Korea, China, Malaysia & Singapore

On behalf of an international logistics and supply chain organization, we are conducting a confidential search for a Business Development Manager – Contract Logistics in the Asia Pacific region.The company is globally established and recognized for delivering integrated logistics solutions across key verticals such as Hi-Tech, E-commerce, FMCG, Industrial and Automotive. With a strong regional footprint, the organization is further expanding its contract logistics capabilities across Australia, Korea, China, Malaysia and Singapore. 

About the Role

This position focuses on driving business development and expanding market share in Contract Logistics across multiple Asia Pacific markets.

The role combines strategic sales, pipeline development and customer engagement, with a strong emphasis on acquiring new business and developing existing accounts in a competitive and fast-growing environment. 

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Develop and execute business development strategies across assigned APAC markets
  • Identify and acquire new customers within contract logistics
  • Build and manage a strong and sustainable sales pipeline
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs (net sales, GM, new business)

Customer & Account Management

  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Identify customer needs and position tailored logistics solutions
  • Support retention and growth of existing accounts

Commercial & Tender Management

  • Prepare and manage customer quotations and proposals
  • Support contract logistics solution design and bid processes
  • Align with internal stakeholders to ensure competitive offerings

Market & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends and local opportunities
  • Align local activities with regional and global strategies
  • Contribute to Go-to-Market initiatives across vertical industries

Your Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in freight forwarding / logistics, including
    strong exposure to contract logistics
  • Proven track record in business development and sales within logistics
  • Experience in managing complex customer solutions and bids
  • Strong understanding of APAC markets and regional dynamics
  • Commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to operate in a multi-country, multicultural environment
  • Fluent in English
