We are supporting an internationally leading logistics and transportation company in the search for a dynamic and sales-driven professional to drive growth in the Air & Sea Freight segment in the greater New York area.

This role is ideal for experienced sales professionals who enjoy building and developing strategic customer relationships and successfully identifying and executing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships in the Air & Sea Freight segment.
- Proactively approach potential customers (“A”, “B” and “C” segments) and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Qualify leads and execute the sales strategy through to contract signature.
- Maintain and document all sales activities within the CRM system.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure a shared understanding of customer requirements, service expectations, timelines, and SOPs.
- Ensure consistently high service and solution quality for all assigned customers.
- Achieve all revenue and margin targets as defined in the Sales Incentive Program.
- Conduct sales and service activities for defined target markets and strategic customer segments.
- Participate in projects and support additional sales-related initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in international freight forwarding sales, ideally with a focus on Air & Sea and a proven track record of target achievement.
- Strong strategic sales capabilities and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, strong credibility, and a professional, consultative communication style.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills paired with a confident and professional demeanor.
- Ability to prepare precise calculations and customer-focused proposals.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
