On behalf of an internationally established logistics company, we are seeking a sales-driven professional to accelerate the growth of Air & Sea Freight activities in the greater Boston area. The region is one of the key logistics hubs on the U.S. East Coast, offering a market environment where customer proximity, strategic business development, and sustained growth are critical success factors.
We are looking for a sales personality who recognizes opportunities, articulates customer value clearly, and is able to capture new market share in a highly competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships within the Air & Sea Freight segment.
- Proactively approach potential customers (“A”, “B”, and “C” segments) and build a sustainable sales pipeline.
- Qualify leads, prepare structured proposals, and execute the sales strategy through to successful closure.
- Maintain and document all sales activities within the CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams and Customer Service to ensure a shared understanding of customer requirements, service levels, cost structures, and SOPs.
- Ensure consistently high customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Achieve agreed revenue, GP, and profitability targets in line with the Sales Incentive Program.
- Execute sales activities in defined target markets and support specific commercial programs.
- Take on additional sales-related responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of sales experience in international freight forwarding, ideally within Air & Sea Freight.
- Proven success in new business acquisition and consistent target achievement.
- Strong strategic sales mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and professional presentation skills.
- Confident handling of pricing, rate calculations, and customer-specific proposals.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
