Our client is an internationally operating freight forwarding and logistics company with a strong focus on ocean freight. For the management of the Hamburg branch, we are looking for an experienced leader who can successfully combine operational expertise with strategic vision and actively drive the further development of the location.
Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for the branch with approx. 20 employees
- P&L responsibility and achievement of relevant KPIs
- Disciplinary and functional leadership of all operational units at the site
- Further development of ocean freight operations and related business areas
- Implementation of corporate goals and continuous process optimization
- Ensuring highest levels of customer satisfaction and proactive customer management
- Close cooperation with national and international management teams
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training in freight forwarding & logistics or comparable qualification
- Several years of leadership experience in international freight forwarding, ideally with ocean freight expertise
- Entrepreneurial mindset, decision-making strength, and strong analytical skills
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
- Confident handling of modern forwarding and IT systems (e.g., CargoWise)
- Strong communication and leadership skills across all organizational levels
