For a globally leading logistics organization with fully integrated air, ocean, and customs operations, we are seeking an experienced executive leader to assume strategic responsibility within the U.S. customs organization.
The role can be based anywhere within the United States, ideally in proximity to one of the company’s operational offices.

Your Responsibilities
In this key leadership role, you will lead the customs organization within a defined U.S. region and assume full responsibility for performance, regulatory integrity, and service quality. You combine operational excellence with strong governance and act as the highest escalation authority for compliance matters within your region.
Operational Leadership
- Lead customs teams against defined KPIs (cycle time, compliance, productivity, customer satisfaction)
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of import and export entries, including PGA-regulated commodities
- Oversee resource planning and performance management across multiple locations
- Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to all CBP and PGA regulations as well as internal SOPs
- Conduct internal compliance reviews and risk assessments
- Monitor regulatory developments and translate changes into operational measures
- Make decisions in complex escalation cases
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with regional leadership and senior management
- Manage complex customer escalations
- Support strategic key accounts
- Communicate performance metrics and risk exposure in a transparent, data-driven manner
Your Profile
- Active U.S. Customs Broker License (preferred)
- 5–10 years of experience in customs brokerage or international trade
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of CBP regulations, HTS classification, and PGA processes
- Experience with brokerage systems (e.g., CargoWise, ACE/ABI)
- Strong analytical and strategic capabilities
- Experience within globally structured logistics organizations
